Hi all,

I am working on setting up a charter Monday with Northern Tech Diver.

We currently have the minimum number of divers to charter a boat with them (3) but would be happy to have more. We are awaiting confirmation that we actually have a boat.

We are hoping for an afternoon dive (2-tank) at an advanced level. Actual wrecks are TBD.

If you're interested drop me a private message. Cost will be $50/person.

Mike

Good - hopefully that means good weather for monday!

Over 60ft, less than 120ft, likely with a little bit of current. All the divers that are going are qualified by either NAUI or PADI to the Advanced Open Water level. As far as I know we're all diving regular air. My buddy and I will be diving on computers, but I believe the other person we're with will be diving on tables, so if it's just the three of us we'll all be diving a similar profile.

As for skills, it wouldn't be good for a first dive of the season and we'd like you to have a decent number of dives under your belt, I'm not comfortable diving with someone who took there basic open water, then advanced right away and this is one of their first real dives.

One of the dives we're thinking of asking to do is the Wolff Islander II. So that will give you some idea of what we're doing.

Define 'Advanced' and I might be interested.

Sounds good, I've been on the Wolf 3 times so far this year. I did my NAUI AOW a while ago. I just wanted to be sure since different people have different interpretations of what Advanced means. If we can identify particular wrecks I can get the depths and I'll probably be diving Nitrox.
Now to negotiate with my boss for Monday. :eyebrow:

We've got the charter confirmed for noon, so I'll be aiming to meet at NTD by about 11:30-11:45. I'll PM you my contact info so we can go from there.

The wrecks will be decided the day of depending on the weather, I asked about that on the phone, but I did specifically ask about the Wolfe Islander - so make sure if you are diving nitrox that you blend it for a MOD that would be good for most of the dives we could go on. I know my buddy and I are diving air and I suspect the other person will be as well.

Contact me to confirm if you get the time off.

Mike

I make it easier for you, 32% will do just fine for all the recreational wrecks in Kingston

Thanks Tom! And thanks to you and your staff for setting this up on short notice!
