I thought I had made my decisions.
My better half had agreed, even though she has a preference for Cannon.
We were left with pricing, and where to buy.

Then Nikon spoiled everything and announced the D300

Now I have to wait for housings to be announced, get my hands on, etc.

FINALLY! Now I just have to decide between the D3 and D300.. And wait for Subal to come out with their housings. Really odd how the D3 didn't go up in resolution to the D2X but just went full size sensor.

I've got the D200, and it's a very sweet camera! But those new ones look VERY nice!!!:D

Ya, Think! :blinking:

Unless the D3 is under 3K, the D300 looks like a great camera. Live Preview, self cleaning sensor, very interesting! It is 1mm taller than the D200. I wonder if it will fit in the housing? My guess is yes, but button placement maybe an issue.

Ohh well, the D200 is a great UW camera! I think I may have to find some $$$ for the D300! :shakehead:

$5K for the D3.. So.. D300 is a real good price at $1800..
