Modding a pt-019

Anyone tried modding a PT-019 (for c-5000) with a TTL bulkhead? I want the functionality of the Ike housing but not the price.

Depending on the space available in the housing above the camera you should be able to. See Heinrichs-Weikamp adapter: click on "Nikonos bulkhead for Olympus PT-housings" on the left hand menu.

But after you purchase the Nikonos bulkhead and TTL convertor (plus cost of PT housing) you are probably very close to the cost of an Ikelite. And you will have to install it yourself (drill a hole and ensure it doesn't leak). And don't forget Ikelite housings come with a handle and tray in the price.
