Has anyone on this board been trained by a gentleman who travels the country in a motor home or van and sells gear at a great price?

If so , please tell me the name of the fellow and the name of business.Website if there is one.

I would like info on how he has fixed up his "mobile training unit"

Thanks

Ron

Pearce has heard of this fellow and said that he thought he was based in Sask. However, he couldn't furnish me with any more info.

Hope this helps a bit.

Take care, eh?!

A Canuck in the Deep South

Not me, although I have done several Discover Scuba's accross the province.

Looking for ideas on a mobile dive "van"

BTW SubMariner : How did you get so lucky to move south ? Where were you originally from ?

Thanks

Ron

Pearce (originally from Ottawa) and I (originally from Windsor) left Toronto in 1996 to set up our sail/dive charter in the Bahamas.

Moved back to Canada in March '98. Aug '98 transferred down to ATL by the company. Here ever since. :)

Pearce is a PADI Course Director, I'm an IDC Staff Instructor. We used to run our own (very successful) program in Ontario.

Take care, eh!? :)

You may be looking for a company by the name of "Blue H2O Sports" based out of B.C. The owners name is Ota Hally, his partners name is Cheryl Hutchinson. They travel across western Canada to the Quebec border durring the summer months. The web site address is http://bluewater-sports.com/

Is this what you are looking for?

i have dove with Ota and his crew For many years now.. unfortunately, Ota passed away last year from Brain Cancer, RIP, he will be missed.. his setup was neat, a little congested at times but neat.. the most impressive setup I have seen was the 18 wheeler he used to have 10 years ago.. but I never did get a straight answer from him on why he sold it.

Groundhog divers in Ontario also did this for many years back in the 80's, you may want to get ahold of them
