Mk17 Mounting to the tank

Im trying new configurations on my hoses. is it ok for the MK 17 to be mounted facing down?

Normally the black plastic part faces up when mounted on an upright tank.

I would like it to be mounted facing down.

you can mount it in any orientation you please, the regulator won't notice....
