Hello,
I am a new member and I have a question.

I tried to search for a similar thread but was unable to find one so sorry if this is a repeat question of a previous thread.

I recently bought an OMS harness to suit a back plate from leisurepro.com.

The Harness in question being the “OMS Harness with Quick Release only”. The problem I have is it is a three piece harness but was not supplied with the following items;

5 x SS D rings,
5 x SS slide / keeper,
2 x two inch plastic slides / keepers

All as listed in the instructions that were delivered with the incomplete harness.
As these items are required to complete the harness I have in effect been supplied with an incomplete un-usable harness.
In the features section of the website for the item it lists “Stainless Steel D-Rings”. So for these items leisurepro.com has kindly conceded after being challenged to the supply of the missing Stainless Steel D-Rings but not the other components.

The problem I have is the photograph of the item on their web site shows a back plate so there is in the description the statement “no Hardware or back pack included’. They state that the slides / keepers are Hardware so will not be supplied.

But without them I don’t have a usable / complete harness.

So the question is, are these harnesses normally supplied incomplete, and has this occurred to others?
Should I source the missing items from some were else as they don’t appear to sell the separately, any suggestions.

thanks in advance for your help and advice.
Phil

If you look at the "includes" tab for the "OMS Harness with Quick Release Only", it says:

Harness With Quick Release Only (no Hardware or back pack included)

The "OMS Harness with 6D-Rings & Quick Release," which cost $8 more, has no "includes" tab, but the "features" are:

Single Left Side Quick Release
Cross Shoulder Harness for Increased Comfort
6 Stainless Steel D-Rings
Metal Waist Buckle
Crotch Strap
These are also the features listed for the "Harness With Quick Release Only".

LeisurePro should send you the hardware, charge you the $8 difference only, and amend their website, in my opinion. But if I see a label that says, "Harness With Quick Release Only" and I am expecting a harness with quick release and a bunch of other stuff, I would ask a question or two before ordering.
