Are there any suggestions for carriers from Minneapolis or Madison? Some of the smaller carriers out of Florida? Thanks!

Because MSP is a hub for DL, I'd strongly reccomend Delta - you'll get there on the same day, and it won't be a red-eye! You are soooo lucky.

Routing would be MSP-ATL-BON. Outbound leaves MSP at 5:30 AM, arrives the same day at 2:00 PM. Yum.

All the best, James

I have done the Delta out of MSP three times and always made it but have never tried it in the winter. One time was in the Fall and we had to get deiced before departure which put us in late and a run across the Hartsfield airport but made it barely. We are doing a trip over the holidays but are driving to O'hare and doing the redeye through Houston. After getting up for a 5:30 am flight the difference between that and a redeye is negligible.

if you're gonna do the atl-bon route, start on friday. Have a relaxed evening/pub crawl in atl on friday night, eat a leisurely breakfast on sat am, and depart for bon in a civilized, non-stressed manner...

We flew from Sioux Falls to Bonaire in Feb. We had the choice of going through Newark, or through Minneapolis-Atlanta-Bonaire. Downsides- Newark was a red-eye, and MSP-ATL-BON involved an overnight layover in ATL. Likely it will be the same for you. We picked the MSP-ATL-BON route, and had no issues. I strongly recommend flying Delta
