I just don't log dives
I've found this odd little flashlight useful for inspecting the inside surfaces when servicing regulators.

An eBay search for "flashlight earpick" will show lots for less than a dollar.

I can't speak to its other uses …

I tried one of those. Resolution is horrible. Software buggy. You get what you pay for.

For the price, I figured as much. If it worked and was thin enough it might be good for checking hoses.

I prefer to just gently bend hoses and inspect along the length. Cracks usually begin forming around the swaged ends. I've yet to see a crack in the middle of a hose that's not cracked at the end. A reason not to like braided hoses: can't really inspect.

Takes a lot of intestinal fortitude to use one of these devices.
