This information was posted in another thread so I decided to make a new one so it would be prominent to the readers.
The El Galeon resort in Sabang has started fast boat service to Sabang from Batangas and vice versa. This service is available to anyone whether your staying at El Galeon or not. They are just getting going so I suspect schedules will vary slightly initially but once the word gets out schedules will be normalized. The best way to keep track of developments is on their FB page Mindoro Sprinter for details. The boat will depart very near the main Batangas terminal direct to the dock at El Galeon. Below is the information posted as of today and from what I was told by staff FB is where you can get the latest information. Lets hope visitors going to Sabang will take advantage of this premium service at a very reasonable cost.

Tuesday August 20:
11:30 a.m. leaves El Galleon Pier to Lamao
12:30 leaves from Lamao to El Galleon Pier.

Wednesday August 21:

Boat Fee is 800 peso one way, per person. Cash only.
There is a P100 port fee to pay from Lamao or Ilaya. There is no port fee departing from El Galleon. All vehicles going to Ilaya will be charged a P50 entrance fee charge to come into the area.
You must be at departure point 30 minutes prior to departure.
