Interesting article - again absolutely no useful information provided by the writer, but interesting nonetheless. Apparantly this guy was the son of a former commander of the SBS (Special Boat Service) - it's the UK counterpart to the US Navy Seal team.

This part struck me as rediculous:

"Dr Ian Calder, an expert in diving accidents, found that the cause of death was fluid in the lungs."

Yup, diving expert, huh? "He drowned."

Not to rain on your parade, but if he had died of a heart attack or something NOT related to diving, the widow would have a much weaker case or no case at all. The fact that a diving doctor specifically found the COD to be drowning supports her case against the MoD. Not so ridiculous in perspective.
