We did a dive at Mikkelsen Harbor which reminded me quite a bit of a Southern California dive. It was definitely colder (33F); however, there was a lot of kelp along this sloping area that we did the dive.
We also saw salps and a bunch of other bright creatures which is such a contrast to the "above water" scene.
I only got topside footage, but we also saw a leopard seal attacking a penguin. Becky was in the water snorkeling and got amazing footage and stills. We also went ashore at Mikkelsen which was a great visit. As if it weren't enough, we saw a bunch of humpbacks at the end of the day and I got some great photos of the end-of-day sunlight streaming through the water as their flukes exited the water.
