Yes, if anything I thought it might just border on too long for a single tank rig.

The lengths for Miflex hoses from XS Scuba (the importer) are predefined, your options are 22" and then 26" and longer so if 22" isn't going to work for you then you don't really have other options except a traditional LP hose.

The one Miflex hose I'm happiest with is my 18" inflator hose, its perfect with the short corrugated hose on my single tank wing.
 
Yup, 22" is perfect. I use 22" for both singles and doubles rigs with no problem.

22" was perfect for my single tank, and 26" was the most comfortable fit for my doubles rig, with my first stages at 90 degrees, and the hoses going straight down.
