A buddy of mine and I are heading to Mexico next week to do a little diving. We're driving from Austin to El Media Luna in San Luis Potosi. We mostly want to see the place and do a dive or two there. The trip there and La Media Luna are more for culture than diving adventure. The trip back is where we're looking for a little more adventure.

We plan to also swing over to Tamaulipas, Mexico. I know there is plenty of interesting diving in the area, but since we've never been there before we thought we'd hit this forum up for a little advice prior to our departure.

Aside from the infamous El Zacaton, what other cave and sinkhole diving is there in the NE Mexico state of Tamaulipas? Anyone who has any advice...travel...LDS's...routes...interesting dives...please chime in! Both of us are experienced divers so don't feel like you have to hold back to keep us safe. We know our limits and plan to stay within them. :)

Thanks in advance!!!!!!!

Well, we're back and although we didn't hear from anyone associated with this forum Brandon and I were able to do a little recon while in Rio Verde and boy did we hit the jackpot!

Alan, I don't think we're going to post a trip report on our last dives in Tamaulipas, MX, but I will post something on my private website and give you the link. It was a helluva a dive!! PM me and I'll share the details. :eyebrow:
