Metal Detector?

Is this a good place to ask a few questions about underwater detectors?
I am going to purchase a new unit and as you all already know, everyone has the best......
Any Ideas on a good unit for under 2 grand that will be used alot?

I think I found a better place here on the site for this thread.
Unless anyone wants to post info on the 3 I have decided on and now have to decide which unit will be best for Salt & Fresh water and maybe some beach use.
