Meet Mermaid Marcy from Weeki Wachee...

Wow... MY kind of girl. Does she have gills, too? Is she like salmon and can tolerate both fresh AND salt water(anadromous)? After all, I am a marine rather than freshwater ecologist.

We just drove by Weeki Wachee Springs a few weeks ago. My wife wanted to stop, but we did not really have time in the schedule.

I HOPE they don't close it down. We ear marked it for our next trip!

You see what I caught last spring at Weeki Wachee. I think they did have a catch and release policy; I wasn’t going to be able to keep her anyway.

An advantage of a double hose regulator is that the bubbles don’t scare the aquatic life.
