I talked to NetDoc this morning and he instructed me to put this link up from the Diverwire site (www.Diverwire.com). It's a story about Marcy Terry, a mermaid at Weeki Wachee springs.

The story appears on the Diverwire News site. You're invited to check it out. Please let me know what you think about the story (and the site).

Mermaid Marcy

Wow... MY kind of girl. Does she have gills, too? Is she like salmon and can tolerate both fresh AND salt water(anadromous)? After all, I am a marine rather than freshwater ecologist.

You see what I caught last spring at Weeki Wachee. I think they did have a catch and release policy; I wasn’t going to be able to keep her anyway. ;)

An advantage of a double hose regulator is that the bubbles don’t scare the aquatic life.
