Dear all,

Is there anyone who is using McNett Silicone Spray for the scuba gear?

Do you put this stuff on your BCD, too?

Please let me share your experience.

Thanks in advance,

Safe dive!

We use it just to clean up and protect rubber parts. Great for getting grime off old hoses, exhaust tees, etc. Guess you could put some on the inflator hose...

They also have a UV Tech product that has more UV Protection... That's good stuff too.

I use a toothpick to dribble a drop of the stuff into the O-rings on the control pushbuttons of my PT-016 Olympus camera housing. At this rate of use, the bottle will last about 200 years.

Never tried it on the BC, since that's cleaned by frequent immersion in saltwater

I don't use the silicone but I do use the UV Tech on my drysuit seals. Seems to work but I have only had the seals on for about a year and a half or so, diving almost every week.
