I believe the latest 220 have been upgraded as of 2019.
Says the new Mcmurdo 220 PLB has been upgraded to include GNSS receivers that work with both the US GPS satellites and the newly activated European Galileo satellites.

Does anyone know if the Prb1 offers this?

It’s PLB1, not PRB1. It’s made by Ocean Signal RescueME in U.K.. It passes the GNSS test, as shown in this report:

Excuse my ignorance, but am I correct in thinking which ever I choose, I will be able to register it with Falmouth coastguard, is that correct?
