GREAT WORK on the ubber close macro of the turtle face late in the video.

Can you describe or provide a real world review, of the new BackScatter Macromate?

distances and focus? did you use it with Narrow mode in camera setting?

I've shot other +10, +14, +21 diopters on a SRP mount.

This new Macromate is twin glass element lenses, sealed in between with air/gas? and you run it on a flip systems from BS?

Have you done dry land testing for super macro, like of a flower or?

thanks for sharing info!

Gearbow, so you've got more that one GoPro setup?

Yes, I already had this set up before I purchased your rig. I now have 3 GoPro Hero2's. 2 Hero3 blacks, and 2 Hero3+ Black.

I will try and get a real world photo uploaded for you. The macro mate mini comes with a little focal length guide as well. About 4".

I always use wide mode, although I am thinking of trying some medium. The close up of the loggerhead was not done with the diopter, there is one headshot I did of a hawksbill with the diopter. The new Hero3+ Black now has a focal length of 8 inches an improvement over the previous 12 inches. I did use the diopter for the seahorse
footage and yes it is the macro mate mini from Backscatter with the flip system. I use the URPro SWCY and the CY filters from Snake River Prototyping along with the flip system from Backscatter.
