Marker buoy back at Mermaid Cove

We finally got around to replacing the float marking the Mermaid in Saltery Bay today. And after two months of crappy vis, we had about 40 ft. vis down to around 60 fsw.
When we descended down the wall it opened right up to about 80 ft. of vis with lots of ambient light.
Hope these conditions stay for a while.

Thanks for replacing the marker! I spent two weekends in Powell River in the past month. We did find the Mermaid but the marker would have been very useful. Glad to hear the visibility has improved too.
