I dive the Negril area but haven't used these guys. I do know that Samsara resort where they are based is a decent resort. Their packages give a choice of LTU or Xtabi resorts, I would definitely pick Xtabi, and be sure to eat there - outstanding! Scuba diving the cliffs of Negril is dubious since most can be done with snorkle gear. The boat dive sites they have listed are all the standard sites for the Negril area - and good fun!

Thanks very much for the reply. Websites and brochures are no substitute for firsthand reports. I appreciate the input.

samsara and sister resort legends are medium resorts facilties are fair food is lousy whoever price is fair.

the dive op there is fine i am sure. they vare located at the far end of negril and only close to the throne room divesite and cliff caves.

most of the best dive sites are on the other end of the cove i used http://www.sundiversnegril.com/ close proximity to sites and very obliging staff. sundivers will pick you up free anywhere in negril.

diving in negril is excellent. water temps of 80+ and vis of 90+ are a awesome combination. many large groups of reef fish, parrot fish and lobsters. area has lots of colorful coral and sponges which nursesharks like to lie and sleep in. turtles and spotted eagle rays are very common.

best resorts are couples, grand lido and sandals all have large dive boats.
sunset at palms best value and food however diving is alacarte.

trip tip dont buy anything from the beach people. they rip you off in quantity and quality. if you deal with one they tell all their friends and decend on you in groups.find your favorite cabby and have him show you around he will treat you alot better.

jamaicans are great host. the country is beautiful. the diving is greatly underated.
jamaican diving has the best bang for the dollar. it is cheap 20 dollars a tank and all sites are 100 - 300 yards off shore.
