Mares "Test" Dive

Is it true that all mares computers have one "test" dive in the dive log?

both my nemo air computers do

both show a dive of 29min one says 180ft the other 183ft

Yes. It was a deco dive 180 FT!
Strange. I wonder why they do that?

To make sure they work and are watertight. They are done in a controlled enviornment, with multiple computers at the same time. Good question though.
