How do you rate the Mares Pegasus for someone that has a limited budget and wants airtrim?

(I've tried it on and it was really confortable, better than a sofa)

Deadmoon,

Don't think that you will get much of a response for the Pegasus here. I have tested the Pegasus and several other Mares Airtrim jackets. I currently own a Morphos and I love it. Works great for my needs, packs small and trims very easily.

The Pegasus is a little larger, but is a very well made jacket. It's very streamlined in the water and is easy to trim. Body squeeze is minimul as the jacket expands away from the body.

However, I think that it really depends on the kind of diving that you plan to do. BP/W is the favorite of most on this board, because it is versatile and supports single or double tank diving. It can grow as your diving needs grow.

Since I only do recreational diving, the Morphos works great for me, and is all I need.

Decide on you diving needs and good luck with whatever you choose.
