Mares Nemo Sport Discountinued in the US

I have been looking for a basic watch style computer. I had boiled it down to the Mares Nemo Sport and Oceanic Geo. I looked at both of them and liked the size of the Nemo Sport better than the Geo and didn't really like the colors of the Geo.

I went to my local dive shop and they told me that the Nemo Sport had been discontinued. I called Mares and they told me that while the Nemo Sport has not been discontinued, it is no longer available for sale in the US.

I know that the Nemo Sport is still available from several online dealers, but I don't usually like to buy something that has been discontinued.

Does anyone have any insight as to what Mares is planning in replacement of the Nemo Sport?
