Scuba.com has a deal on this thing that is too good to pass up. Does anyone have experience with this computer, and would you recommend it?

Thanks. Any opinion on the accuracy of the compass and air integration?

My wife uses an HD as well as another instructor we work with. Neither have had integration or compass issues. However, a recent firmware update addressed a compass display issue.

K. I was originally going to go for a liquivision lynx but the discount puts this 200 bucks cheaper even with the transmitter. So I changed my mind and ordered an icon. Hope it's great!

I got the Icon HD (not net ready). It doesn't have air integration - I didn't want that and because the Net Ready had just come out it only cost me $425. I totally love the computer. The compass is accurate (though I don't use it much). Some complain about the battery life. My guess is that they have the brightness set all the way up with the backlight on all the time. I set my brightness down low and have the backlight come on for 10 sec or 30 sec. (I forget which). Anyway just enough time to look at it and get the information. One charge lasted me for nearly two weeks of diving on Bonaire. No need to burn through the battery when I'm not looking at it. Anyway, I totally love the display, love the profile function (though I only use it in the logging software) and can't do without the ascent/descent display.
