hello, ive been diving since january this year. and recently ive been thinking of getting this MARES DIAMANTE BCD. is it any good? it fits well. it doesnt look that bulky or garrish. and seems durable enough. any feedback from those in the know...?

Wow this is the first time I've ever heard of this particular BC!

At first I thought it was a mis-spelling or something!
I suspect that since you're in the Phillipines that the 'Diamante' is some variation or change of wording of another Mares BC.

Did a search on google, is this it? http://www.scuba-equipment-europe.com/bjmda.html

It sort of resembles a Mares Vector pro except that the inflator mechanism differs.
Anyway a friend of mine has the Vector pro and from what I can see it seems to be well constructed and well designed.
Certainly seems more durable than my Cressi.
Mares generally make quality BC's, so I don't think you can go wrong with this.

I say go for it!

thanks for the info!
yes, i am quite sure Mares BCs are quality equipment so it should be a good buy.
I just thought it would be good to get some insights from others just to validate my choice ... thanks again
