I am curious about the AST kit. Can be installed in any regulator or is it compatible only with MARES ones?

It is compatible with the Mares 82X-72X-52X-15X AND R2 yolk first stages according to their website.

AST Dry System (INT)

They also have a din spec page if that is what you need.
