Great shots as usual, Swankenstein. I saw a dead dogfish being dragged away by crabs under the Maple Bay pier a few years ago. On the second dive, the crabs had moved the dogfish about 5 metres, and were still dragging it.

Nice pics. Where's Maple Bay, down near Victoria? I'm moving to Nanaimo this summer (from the east coast) Been all over Nanaimo already and done a couple great dives at Ogden Point breakwater with intent to return, but always looking for new spots.

It's about halfway between Victoria and Nanaimo. I don't think it's as good as either of those locations, but it's always nice to see somewhere a bit different.
