Manta-Seeking in the Maldives!
Join Jonathan Bird on a photographic exploration of the Maldives in search of giant Manta Rays! The Maldives are known for having some of the most beautiful reefs in the world, as well as a large population of large marine animals like whale... sharks and manta rays. At Hanifaru lagoon, dozens of mantas converge when the currents are right to feast on plankton soup. Don't miss this exciting slide presentation by underwater photographer Jonathan Bird.
8 PM at Palmers Cove Yacht Club 74 Leavitt St Salem Mass.
Social Hour starts @ 7 pm in the lounge. Good food and drink for cheap $$. Come early and make an evening out of it. (Note: Bar and grill is cash-only, so please plan accordingly)
