I have been told that manta ray encounters are pretty rare on Oahu. So I guess you can say that we were pretty lucky to see this fella/gal on last Thrusdays dive. It was at the very end, we were heading up the line when my Buddy got my attention and showed me the ray flipping from side to side. Like a dog shaking off water. We had enough air and some time left so we followed him. It was so graceful....These are a couple of the pictures that Turtleguy got with the stylus

They really are graceful creatures. I have yet to see one in Micronesia, but saw one in Kona a few years back. Thanks for rekindling the memories with the shots.

Good shots Lisa and a great experience.

Very cool!
