Went looking for the alleged sea horses at Andrea 1 yesterday morning and ran into a Manta Ray instead! I think this exactly why we go diving. Never know what to expect. I uploaded the video to you tube (keesmon channel) but not sure how to link it here. Perhaps someone with a desktop can put the link in the comments?
Im testing out the new Intova Sport Pro video camera and it's working out fantastic. Easily fits in my BC pocket and comes out quickly in case of Manta sightings for instance.
Kudos to the lion fish program here on Bonaire btw. Curaçao was filthy with them (15 per dive) and I've only seen one on 6 dives so far.
Looks like the winds have disappeared this morning, so we're gonna go give the light tower a try. Life is good!

We dove lighthouse this morning! It's a forest of soft coral. I will post the videos when I return next week.
The winds disappeared overnight, so we dove lighthouse and red slave back to back this morning. Thinking about Lac Bay tomorrow.......

what a beautiful creature, watching it move it looks like a bird in flight, it makes you forget you're under water
i hope i get to see one some day :D

That is indeed the camera I am using. The guys at Leisure Pro and Intova hooked me up and got me one early so I could take it with me on this trip. I hope to put together a video collage once I get back home and I'll upload it here. I have to say, that little camera is super sweet so far. Fits easily in my BC pocket so it's out of the way until you want it. Some dives it stays in there for the first 45 minutes, some dives it's out in the first

Here's some tarpon under Salt Pier, if the upload goes through.
