Malta diving/accommodations

I'll be traveling to Malta in a couple of weeks and I'm looking for anyone (local, tourist etc.) who might want to do some diving and possibly share the cost of transport to the various shore dives around the islands. I currently have a divemaster cert. with almost 200 dives and I'll be looking into renting out a set of gear for at least a week possibly more depending on how good the diving is. Also, if anyone has any recommendations as far as relatively cheap backpacker style accommodations I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Accommodation is very reasonable. And th ediving is fantastic! I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time. There are some pics at http://www.kentscuba.com/malta.htm to wet your appetite. We are usually there each May and October and shall be there again this October, especially to see the latest wreck, the P29.
