Has anyone dived the Maldives in June? I know the vis is not always the best during the southwest monsoon, but I understand due to the cooler water and stronger currents, there's often a greater abundance of "big stuff" on the west side of the atolls. Am really hoping to see Whale Sharks. I'll be on the Manthiri live aboard for 8 1/2 days.

Any comments on the season or recommended dive sites would be appreciated.
