Malaysia West Coast Sep / Oct

I am hoping to be out in Malaysia in September / October for about 2 weeks.
While I will be in KL and Ipoh for most of the time I am trying to plan a few days diving.
From Ipoh it is much easier to get to the west coast, and my wife wants to show me Pinang.

Any suggestions for location, Pinang, Langkawi and dive operator would be appreciated.

As far as I know, the only diveable sites in West Coast is in Payar Island near Langkawi. Go to my website http://www.malaysia-islands.com and find "Payar Island" for photos and my dive review.

For operator, I used East Marine Dive & Seasports based in Kuah, Langkawi. They also have an office in Penang. Boat journey to Payar: about 1 hour from Langkawi, or 1 1/2 hour from Penang. I paid RM280 for 2 dives and everything.
