Making Tokyo summers tolerable-Monthly Dive Fest at Osezaki

This coming weekend is Osezaki Dive Fest #2 for 2008

Each month, Discovery Divers will be hosting a Dive Bash at Osezaki. There will be 20 or more Tokyo-ites diving, enjoying the beach and having fun times at night. A great escape from the heat of city summer.

So far, scheduled dates are
June 21/22 - July 12/13 - Aug 12/13

An increasing number of us come down on Friday night...so that's now a possibility as well to save the early Saturday morning trek from Tokyo.

There will be:
- Training and warm-up/beginner diving in the inner bay
- Advanced diving and training out on the point and the outside
- Night diving at the inner bay
- Possibility of beach barbeques, weather permitting

These weekends always fill up early, so please initiate contact at least a week (two is better) before the event. Contact Jim to reserve (Jim@DiscoveryDiversTokyo.Com)

June 21/22
Despite the most prolific and enduring rain I've ever dove in, Dive Fest II was a total success. Some folks did as many as 5 dives a day on Saturday and 4 on Sunday. Certifications were earned and good times were had.
