did you report it to Fish and Game yet? We need to protect our environment as divers, so-cal already is terrified of the caleurpa that has previously threatened to destroy the coastline of california.

I did some looking around, I would think that contacting DFG at AskMarine@dfg.ca.gov would be a good step. They should be able to take the necessary information for the records.
