Being in the North, I'm looking for a couple good places to dive in Maine.

I am also interested in diving in S. Carolina any suggestions.

I don't know either of the areas, but we do have dive clubs for each of those, where you'd be more likely to obtain useful information. This forum is more for us inland folks. :D

North Carolina certainly has good diving, which can be researched in that forum, but it's not for newbies. Your Dive Info doesn't say how many dives you have? :ne_nau:

I dive SC...what kind of diving are we talking?

Eastport Maine is probably some of the best diving in the Atlantic ocean. It's got tons of nutrient rich water exchanging at every tide, which can be extreme as the nearby Bay of Fundy varies 28 feet between high and low tide. It's VERY rich with marine life.

I hear Nubble Light, in southern Maine, is also good.
