Dove Chumphon Pinnacle back in 2001. Had a first stage reg failure (rental gear) on a 100 fsw dive. Returned to the boat for a new reg and resumed the dive at depth. Unfortunately there was a whale shark and a manta ray in the shallows that we missed. Good times though.

Haven't seen a whale shark or a manta ray there either but it's a beautiful dive site. I wish I could dive there in 2001. All of us on the island were hoping that the quarantine will bring a lot of life back but once we were allowed to dive again there were a bunch of fishing boats at the site. It is getting better now.
