hello
I recently bought a cannon G15 with the cannon 48 housing and i am looking for a wet lense for macro use just for when i can not go to close .I will apreciate if anyone can help as i am totaly noob

try underwater digital Japan , Mr. Yuzo. he has all the wet lenses for your housing. I just bought my inon video lights and Dbase4 recently from him.Actually I bought all my strobe and other accessories from him. Am also considering the wide angle or the macro lens in the coming days. His price is the cheapest as I have canvassed from other suppliers.

Hello thanks alot about the suggestion but i needed mostly help in which macro lens will be best for my camera ?

You are limited by the canon housing I think unless you want to modify it yourself. I use two Inon macro lenses with my G11 and they work great. the bayonet mount makes it easy to get the shot you want depending on the size of the critter. I have the Fisheye fix housing which makes things easier but here is a description for modifying the canon housing. Course maybe there is an adaptor out there by now.

What do you mean by "when I can not go to close" A macro lens will require you to be ~4-6" from the subject, which is pretty close imo, as it will be unable to focus at any further distance.

That said I use the Dyron macro lens, you will need to buy a 67mm adaptor to put on the front of the canon housing:

is one such example.
