Macro Setting G9 Inon 165

Hi guys,

I have a G9 and a Z240 strobe and have recently bought two Inon 165 lenses that I aim to stack.

1. Is there any benefit to putting on the macro setting of the G9 or is there no longer any benefit considering I have the two 165 lenses ?

2. Am I creating any disadvantage having the G9 macro setting switched on ?
