My E-PL5 will be shipped soon, and many questions start to emerge, before we submerge.

Especially the macro question is problematic:

Option#1: 1.8/45mm lens+Kenko AF extension rings - I like this lens on land - if I don't have to, I wouldn't just buy a 60mm. question is, if the setup can be fitted to a semidome - such as the Zen WA100?

Option#2: adapted, big-fat 2.8/105 micro Nikkor (I still have it since my nikon DSLR era). For that, I don't know if there is any m4/3 port solution, with focus gear... Can I adapt an Ikelite port somehow? Is the absence of AF a big deal for macro?

The third case one could buy the Oly 60mm macro of course - which I would like to avoid.

any clues are very welcome, I would love to see either of the first two options feasible.

I don't know if it is possible to house the 45mm lens with extension rings in a dome port but I am quite sure that there is no solution for the micro Nikkor. You have that lens; just put it next to the housing for the camera and you probably will see that the diameter of the micro Nikkor is wider than the dome port. Also I think that manual focus under water is quite a hassle unless you are using a tripod which is very unusual under water. So in my opinion it is either the 45mm and a fitting dome port or a new 60mm which fits in your standard port (depending on the housing).

Thanks for the feedback! I am also leaning towards an AF solution. The 45mm is quite small, it will be longer with extension rings though.

Right now I have a 9-18mm m.zuiko, I hope I can get both macro and wide under a zen WA100 dome - or something similar. (+I hope there will be a 10bar
or Nauticam housing compatible to the E-pl5...)
