I have a Olympus E330 srl camera.
Id like to shoot macro. Is the only lens available the 50mm?
Is there any others lens I can use. Anything similar to the 105 mm from Nikkor?

I used to shoot a Oly E-330 now I shoot a OLY E-30. I just purchased the Sigma 105MM and it works great.I also have the Oly 50MM which I still use.I use an Ikelite housing and they do have a port that will work with the Sigma 105MM.

I have Ikelite housing too. Great!!!
What w/a lens do you recommed?

Olympus also has a 35 mm macro that does "true" lifesize 1:1 macro.

Most reports I have heard on the Sigma 105 macro is that the images are sharp but that the auto focus is painfully slow.

Olympus also makes a 1.4 & 2 X tele converters which will extend your Olympus 50 macro to 70 mm and 100 mm, (140 mm and 200 mm in 35 mm format terms).

The 1.4 X tele converted and 50 mm is my most used macro kit and gives about the same angle of view as a 100 or 105 on a Canon or Nikon camera with a 1.6 or 1.5 times cropped sensor.

I've recently used the Zuiko 50mm with a SubSee 10X. Works well for macro and can be swung out of the way when shooting larger subjects. The Sigma 105mm is not very useful with the E-330.
