Just wondering if anyone has any advice for a macro lens for a 400D. It doesn't have to be a Canon but needs be at least 1-1.

Also consider the 60mm efs macro. I bought this lens to use with my 20D and have been very pleased with it.

Two to consider.

Sigma 50mm

or the Canon 60mm EF-S

I have the Sigma but have not used it underwater yet. I've read great feedback on it and seen great shots.

I plan to get a 100mm at some point as well. The 50 or 60 is a good starting point I think.
