Macro from Anilao

Had quite a dive yesterday. These rare critters from one of last Sunday's dive in Anilao.

Even for Anilao, it is most unlikely to see these rare critters on the same dive.

The hairy shrimp is pretty wild. I'm not sure if I've seen one of those before. It's beautiful.

He has a DSLR now I think

The hairy shrimp is excellent for clarity the ones I have look just...hair!

That's as good a pic of a hairy shrimp as I've ever seen..nice!

Thanks guys. I sold the S90 set up last year.

These are shot with a Canon 7D and 100mm lens. The Hairy shrimp with a Nauticam SMC in front of the 100mm.

Really good shots Ozzi! Who was your guide? I just did 9 days at Anilao, I had Wilson at Dive Solana, I thought he was great, but I never saw any of those critters! (would love to though!)

Rob, I always have Edgar as my guide out of Crystal Blue Resort. Anilao jas so many good guides/spotters DMs that as long as you tell them you are a photographer. It is easy to getvset up with a good guide specialing in Macro Critters.

Ozzi out of curiosity did you try the 60mm lens instead of the 100? What is the largest area you can cover with the 100 on the 5d?
