Hi

I am considering using one lens for macro instead of stacking 2 whilst diving. I have been using +10 +4 for small critters. What are your thoughts of using just one +20 diopter instead of stacking?

I came across this diopter on Ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370247871774&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:US:1123
I sent an enquiry with this reply from the seller:

Dear dor1813,

Thanks this lens will not work with your camera because this is made for taking Macro close up pictures.
It will focus only from 6 to 18 inches of distance.

Does anyone know where can I find a suitable 55mm +20 (or more) diopters/close up/macro filter to be used with the GoPro Hero 3 with SRP SO adaptor?

well I think it will work, but it will only come a bit closer than +14 as you have. A cheap lens, worth trying maybe.
