I’m the happy owner of a Mach V 18lb wing…I think.

Bought the wing a few years ago and have loved it. But just noticed on the back, on the tag, it says “Approx Buoyancy: 40”

Now, the wing is an awful lot smaller than any 40lb wing I've seen. It looks exactly like THIS wing, which is listed on ScubaToys as the 18lb wing.

It does NOT look like this wing, shown for the 30 and 40lb wing:

Unfortunately, Oxycheq's site shows the top picture above as the only photo on the page for the 18, 30, and 40.

Any ideas?

you could take it to a pool and hang weight on it until it sinks........:D

FYI, my 30lb mach V definitely looks like your 18lb pic, not the 30 and 40 lb pic.

Some time back I ordered and received a 30# wing, and then traded it with another SBer for a 40# wing. Out of curiousity I measured both of them: I got the same height, but the 40 # wing was about 1/2" wider. Looking at them side by side, you would be hard pressed to tell the difference.
