So it appears MacDive has gone abandonware. The app disappeared from the App Store and on the forums there haven’t been much reactions from the developer.

So looking for alternatives.

It’s working fine for me on MacBook and IPhone, and a Quick Look at the App Store shows it was last updated 5 months ago

Not sure about the photos, but subsurface is awesome and free. Subsurface Divelog
Subsurface does have some photo management (basically it will put thumbnails along a dive profile and you can click to get the full version). There is a (free) cloud service, but I have not used it.

Works fine for me too. I plan on using it until it is no longer supported. At that point I’ll export the data and import it into Subsurface or some other app. Subsurface is fine, but the UI is a bit clunky compared to MacDive.

I've e-mailed the MacDIve developer a couple of times and have not received any replies. My MacDIve still works so hopefully it will continue to be supported.

I also can recommend Subsurface. I run it on my MacBook, along with their separate iPhone app. They have an included cloud service which syncs them together. Easy to upload my dive logs from my Shearwater computer.

Well its a german website, but you can switch to English language. I have seen US, UK and Australien members...

You can upload from computers, attach and link photos.
You can put your equipment and cert cards.
Its possible to Table Edit your dives.

Everything can be chosen as private or public. The app Is less powerful than the website though.
