Apparently, DSI is developing a new ffm that is able to change out the second stage reg under water. I have been interested in a ffm for some time, but have not yet taken the plunge. I really dont have a need except for comfort or the sake of just having a new gadget. My only reservation up to now has been the fact that a second stage failure or face seal failure meant carrying a back-up mask and then what's the point? Yes, once upon a time I actually experienced a second stage failure. They do happen and are not always correctable under water. Hence, a good reason to have a reliable octo.

Anyone tried this yet?
Thoughts?

Cheers,

Scott
