Hello! What is the difference between the 6171.10 housing (clear) versus the newer white model?

Thanks!

Mike

Hi Mike,

The two housings are nearly identical regarding functionality. The newer white model mounts the camera and TTL electronics in the front of the housing instead of the back. The external single and dual trays are optional and mount differently than the older model. I've attached instruction manuals for both the old and new housings for comparison. The newer housing can be seen here: Underwater Housing for Panasonic Lumix LX100, Leica D-LUX Type 109.

Regards,

Brett Foster - Ikelite
