Anyone know where I can find some Luxfer 40's in shot blast around still?

Luxfer isn't going to make SCUBA cylinders anymore? Or just a few sizes now? I have heard both.

spotty availablity and high prices on the luxfers. just get some cyl-tecs they are fine.

look at hymark

are the cyl-tecs, and hymarks just as good, or would most still prefer the luxfers? I was planning on waiting a while to buy them, but if I can find them some place even if they are a bit more money I wonder if they would be worth grabbing now.

the hymarks are supposed to have similar bouyancy properties to the Luxfer tanks I am told.

Yep they are Rox. Someone had them one time and I switched bottles with him. Exactly the same except for the top of the screws was a little style curve, but its the same.

Nice, I guess if they are about the same I'll look into getting one.

Thanks everyone!

Luxfer is still making 40's and in brushed finish.

Yeah but last known price around here was $220 without a valve, ouch. Not worth that.
