Lurking and learning from Colorado

And boy have I learned a lot from this board! Really invaluable information. So time for a first post.

Hello from Colorado. I am a "born again" diver. I was originally certified at age 16 in 1969, but didn't do a lot with it. Just started again this winter, and the scuba obsession has me firmly in it's teeth. Have done OW, AOW, PADI Adventure and now completing Rescue. I am completely enjoying the learning and seeing my skills grow. I do believe DM is next.

I enjoy fly fishing. I just bought a dry suit to do some altitude dives in some of the clear lakes of Colorado to capture some photos and video of trout underwater. Certainly a different perspective.

Have done some very nice dives in Cozumel, Cancun and a week in Bonaire is coming up in July.

Nice to have ya here. Where are ya in CO? I'm north of Boulder in Longmont.
Not sure if you can say what shop you are working with either but I would be interested to know. I'm in the DM program now and I'm learning a lot.

Hello Russ! I live in Centennial. I lived in Boulder a dozen years before heading south about 20 years ago, so I know Longmont pretty well.

My LDS is Underwater Phantaseas. They really do a terrific job and I largely blame them for my addiction.
